Handstripping
This grooming method is used to remove the dead hair from wire haired and some silky dog’s coats, keeping the coat healthy and bright.

Puppy Grooming
Puppy grooming sessions at The Little Grooming House are designed to give pups a positive introduction to the grooming environment.
Slowly and gently I will introduce them to bathing, light brushing, nail clipping, ear cleaning and light trimming to help them feel safe, happy and comfortable when they come to the groomers.
Puppy grooming appointments are 45 minutes long.
Nail Clipping
It is important that dog’s nails are kept to a healthy length to a healthy posture.
Dogs’ nails adhere very tightly to the last bone of the toe and when the nail is too long it causes the last bone to be pushed when the foot strikes the ground. This affects foot placement and can lead to misalignment and poor posture.
If your pups nails are looking a bit long, book a quick appointment and I will get them to a healthy length in no time.

De-matting
Where lots of mats found there will be an extra charge, owing to the extra amount of time it takes to remove with these whilst ensuring your dog remains comfortable.
£10 - for every 30 mins spent on mats (add-on service)
Pawdicure
A super conditioning paw treatment that will moisturise your dogs’ cracked, dry and rough paws and help form a barrier to protect them from everyday wear and tear.

BLUEBERRY & VANILLA FACIAL
A refreshing and hydrating facial scrub to cleanse, soothe and balance. It has a natural and gentle exfoliating effect, helping to remove dirt and lighten tear stains around the eyes and mouth.

Flea Treatment
An effective flea treatment is used to kill fleas if they are found in a dogs coat. This also covers the decontamination required in the studio post groom.
Please note that this treatment will only kill the fleas from your dogs coat. Further treatment will be required as fleas/eggs will still be present in the dog's environment and will require full treatment as directed by your vet.

anal gland expression
Do you notice your pup scooting along the floor or do they frequently lick or chew their rear or tail?
Neutered dogs can have issues with compacted anal glands as they don't mark their territory in the same way anymore; this can be incredibly uncomfortable and lead to infections.
This treatment will clear the fluid built up in their anal glands, helping your dog to feel more comfortable.
